A lawyer who was recently called to the bar, Akbar Yussif Rohullah Khomeini, has exposed the plans of the National Democratic Congress ahead of the 2020 election's petition at the Supreme Court of Ghana.
In a post sighted by Savannaherald.com on Facebook, Akbar Yussif Rohullah Khomeini revealed that, Hon Muntaka recent allegations about a judge of the Supreme Court is an attempt to turn the citizens against the judges who may supervise the petition hearing.
The lawyer wrote:
This is the NDC strategy.
The SC will be duly constituted to hear the petition this week.
Because the NDC is aware of the weakness of their petition they must create doubts around the SC so Muntaka has thrown in an allegation without a name ( even though he claims he is still gathering evidence).
When the Bench is duly constituted, they will comeback with a name of Judge they perceive will be bias against them and claim he is the judge who attempted, allegedly, to bribe an NDC MP.
But you cannot play political mischief with the court and get away with it. Muntaka must be thoroughly prepared to provide evidence against the said judge for his removal or to end up in jail for contempt. It is a serious matter.
